Just when we were getting spoiled by sunny skies and thoughts of spring, winter will return on Tuesday with 4 to 8 inches of snow possible through Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service at Sullivan.

The Weather Service this morning issued a hazardous weather outlook for portions of East Central Wisconsin, South Central Wisconsin and Southeast Wisconsin calling for a mixture of rain and snow starting Tuesday night that will develop into all snow on Wednesday as a strong low pressure tracks northeast from Missouri to Lake Erie.

Brisk and gusty northwest winds accompanied by blowing and drifting snow are predicted to create further hazardous conditions by Wednesday night, according to the weather service. I guess I better remove the batterys from my Safari!

I spent many a days in the snow detecting and the winds and freezing rain, tree branches falling all around in the woods with the winds :D
I remember a few trips in the spring thaws in the mountains I would cross a creek early morning only to come back after things warmed to find the creek 20 feet wider and whole lot deeper  but it was all fun
Thats what it is all about...FUN :D
but be safe too ,me I liked the challange I guess ;)
