You are going to use it on a piece of equipment made by an Australian company & manufactured either in Ireland or Malaysia .. Its a little late to think about buying local...wildherre

the plants are in the U.S. but most parts are made outside of the country. the labor is here but even that is in question as to where is it really from. i do prefer to support local business but if one coil from europe will find the silver dime better'n one from texas i'll go with europe.
my understanding is minelab has left the irish, moved it's U.S. HQ. to illinois or somewhere near it and it's main HQ is in maylasia.plants are still in austrailia i hear.
