Sun Ray Pro Gold or Killer B Wasp Headphones?

I arrived at the site that I was going to detect this morning and right off my Killer B Wasp Headphones stopped working. I found a short at the plug and I now have them in the mail to be repaired. This isn't going to happen to me again. I'm going to get me a good backup set of headphones and take them with me every time that I go detecting. I always have a backup detector or two with me when I go detecting. I have some other headphones but they don't compare to my Killer B Wasp Headphones, not even close. I heard that the Sun Ray Pro Golds are the same as the Killer B Wasp Headphones except they have better ear muffs and rubber boots for the switches. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Also which forum sponsor has the best deal on them?

Doesn't look like you have received an answer to your question, so I'll give it a shot.----First--a little late to say it since you've found out the hard way--but--ALWAYS carry a spare set (or two) of h.p.'s on your hunts!---You really needed to hear that at this point--right? -----------The Pro Golds are excellent/reliable h.p.'s, I've used them for years (for both primary use and back ups).-------Dealers you ask (for a good deal on h.p.'s)-----try Backwoods Detectors--NWI Detectors---Indian Nations Detectors.------They are good guys & Findmall Forum dealer/sponsors---they will treat you right.

Thanks. I ordered some Killer B Wasp headphones and sent the pair that I had in for repair. Both should be here by Saturday.
