Hunted an old park in CT. Only had about two hours so hunted hard and fast! I was getting several wheats so I just knew that there was silver there somewhere! Sure enough I ended up with 3 mercs and a silver plated Catholic pendant. Also got one Indian, and a 41 and 52 nickels. Ended the hunt with 19 wheats. The mercs are a 42, 28, and 17 S.

Here is the BIGGEST Sycamore tree in CT. I am holding it up in the pic. It has a 23 ft 7 in circumference.
Some say it is 800 years old! :surprised: I didnt see Zacheus anywhere?:lmfao:

Nice finds Mike! That sure is a monster tree!! Glad you got to meet Lorraine...did you ask her to come back to the forum??

Congrats on the finds, Mike. Did you find a lot under that tree? Looks like a big playground for kids and adults over the years.

Love them old bridges.

Congrats, me son! No surprise that you found the wheaties and silver! Your Minelab Vacuum Cleaner just grabs them right out of the ground! If you had seen Zacheus up in that tree, then you would have seen a very ancient man in age! God Bless! Ma Betty

Wow, what a tree! Congrats on the finds.

I wonder what all that tree has seen , that is a huge tree.

and that is one GIANORMOUS tree! We have a sequoia tree in our back yard that has an enormous base, but that Sycamore is big! Did you find the coins there, at the tree?
