the better finds from sunday and monday ,five musket balls seven buttons ,escutcheon plate top right, two modern coins (modern steel cored penny going rusty) large coin is a local trade token penny dated 1815 ,and a broken silver plated buckle from the 1600's which started my heart going for a bit as i thought it was solid silver .the top lead item is a trade weight probably about the same age as the buckle .

Jeff, some nice finds mate, did not get out on sunday as usual due to family, but plan on getting out on a few sites during the week, farmer is bailing the last of the straw from one field so the plan is to concentrate just on this site as it has started to produce some roman, but as its runs right next door to the roman A1 it was always possible that something would turn up.4 fields away i can see a roman dwelling site that i have just gained permission on.

Its good that you are enjoying yourself again with the T2 after the break.
