Looks about like my hunt today, Robert, except I did manage to dig a 44 Merc, also. How much longer will you be able to hunt up there?

Not much longer till the snow will start to fly...All depends on how much we get and how fast...I will hunt if snow is less than 2 inches or so

We have hunted this place probably 20-30 times...I think the silver is pretty much gone now.

I always like finding wheat pennies. Sometimes they keep me going when I am hunting that elusive silver coin.

As long as I can locate wheat cents I remain optimistic that there is silver lurking. Especially if the soil is difficult and or the wheats are deep.
