Sundays hunt

Looked like a nasty day was coming Sunday and my wife scheduled some work for me so i didnt think i was going to hunt. But it cleared up and i finished the honey Dew list early. I called my buddy Mark and we headed out to the Indy Hood. I go the watch fob which says K of P 56 and on the back says corner stone laying Indianapolis May 27, 1906. At the top of the fob is a nice 7 sterling ring. Mark beat me on wheats and found this replica of a 1906 standing liberty quarter that was at least 5 inches in dia. My wife said the gold chain attached to the safety pin seems to be a tie tack. Nothing id ever wear. The safety pin is sterling and says juicy. There is a J a crown that is silver. Also the strawberry is made of bake a lite with stones and a larger stone set in silver. He has a diamond tester so we are pretty sure its not a diamond... but it is an awfully nice setting. The single chain is really heavy but im not sure its gold. All in all very nice last min. hunt.

Nice finds Dew !!

Funny that he found a replica of a 1906 SLQ, since that was a Barber year. SLQ's were'nt minted until 1916 ..

Sorry that was a typo..... it was a 1916 i just cant type lol.

Very cool finds, especially the jewelry. I hope the chain turns out to be gold. That watch fob K of P might be Knights of Pythias, a fraternal organization. I'm not sure what the 5 6 means. HH
