What we may need to see is a good & convincing test done on one of your wet saltwater beaches to convince us to buy one.
I myself would like to see a sensitivity & depth comparison test done between SunRay 12 1/2 inch CZ coil & the 10 1/2 inch Fisher CZ coil on one of the not so nice wet saltwater beaches in your area.
While your at it, try to bring along a few area experts on the use of those Aussie multifrequency detectors for a FAIR BEACH COMPARISON to the Fisher 12 1/2 inch CZ coil setup.
I know it may be asking a bit much of you, & maybe I'll just have to buy a SunRay 12 1/2 inch coil for my retuned CZ-6a when it gets back to me from Fisher.
I do have a few not so shy Aussie multifrequency detector owners in my area who would not be a bit bashful on doing a comparison test.
Anyhow...It sure would be good to see just how well the CZ 12 1/2 inch coil setup compares to some of the popular & prefered beach hunting detectors.
I think most of us agree that a concentric coil goes deeper than a DD coil, but how well does the new SunRay 12 1/2 inch concentric compensate for those wet beach salts & wet iron minerals at depth.
Ah What the Hey!...maybe I'll just have to buy one & find out for myself.
