Sunray X5 vdi # changes

I took the X5 out for it's first trial and found it was giving me different numbers compared to my 10x5 coiltek. The X5 was telling me 37-38 were dime and quarter signals where as the 10x5 Coil tek were 36-37. Why were the 2 coils different in vdi numbers?

I have heard this on other brands I just think it is the nature of the signals from different coils especially after market coils I think maybe something to do with feqency shift and other things but not 100% sure.
