Super nerd Omega/G2 combo question

detectingMO

New member
Could an Omega and G2 simultaneously share a coil (with custom adapter of course) while both active without damage and/or interfernce? If not, would a custom switch on the fly work ok in a crazy frankendetector Omega/G2 combo? These two compliment each other so well and share coils. It would be great to have the best of both in one machine. :(

yes, in theory. Unless FTP would like to make dual/switchable frequency with the new G2 plus. I'll wait and see on the F19(hopefully a Eurotek tones/G2 combo). It would be nice to have both frequencies and both machine options, all in one machine.

I suppose you could rig a Sunray x probe switch backward and mount the control boxes on a straight shaft 180 degrees out. Would that be about what you are thinking?
