I run my vaq on normal "park settings " that 53 silver prescribes in his vids, For the most part i work parks, various grass areas and ball fields. Perhaps I should try supertuning this thing and try it out. I do have some questions on his video.
1. First thing I am not sure of how that raising the threshold increases depth but I will take your word for it. So am I to assume that in super tune mode the higher the threshold the better?
2. Now I understand that he is just doing this as a demo and for all intents and purposes he has planted the coins for the purpose of a demo and knows what they are, But in a "real world" hunt wouldn't he rotate the discrimination clockwise to further investigate what might be there? I didnt see any of this mentioned on the video.
3 I also notice that he starts out just about all metal. Would it not be super tuned had he raised the discrimination higher say above nickel? Why not set the discrimination higher?
Just trying to understand is all
