Sure glad it wasn't a 1914-D for once!

Howdy,

All I could manage to find were Wheats on my last hunt. I revisited the site that has been producing for me, and this time it gave up ten Wheats and nothing more. But that did bring the total of old coins found there to 146 (since September).

The Wheats were all 40's-50's though, except one lone 1914, that would have been a sharp one. Actually, it is kinda sharp on one edge now... I cringed when I saw the date, and found myself hoping it didn't have a mintmark - was happy when it didn't. I don't think I could've taken the agony if it had.

:usaflag: I looked up the prices on that penny after I read your post. Agony is putting it lightly if it had been a '14-D.....!Phew!
