Many missing faces, the pic theme nite looks like there is not much interest? Are you out there??? Check in, say hello for the first time, send out some ideas to spruce up the forum, something????

all forums that i go to are slow! pic night was very cool keep doing that.

I have a few on this computer but if it doesn't fit the topic then it is difficult to post pics. In fact, I am still looking for my American flag and the Christian flag (the one we held at the 2005 CMD Forum hunt). I caught a glimpse of them about a month ago when Steve was up to detect after the yard sale. (4th of July is coming and can't find the flag.) The box with the flags also has all or mostly all my finds - over 100 rings, lots of coins, etc. found down in the Lansing area and no clue where in the mess to find them.

Saturdays also is our day trips - some are some VERY long days - like yesterday over 450 miles of travel but no detecting or detecting related stuff to post about.

Sunday is the Lord's and with 2 churches we attend - and then 'teenage' stuff crammed in the middle this day is pretty much a non-detecting day as well.

Hopefully tomorrow I can report finding the lady's diamond stud earring lost in her yard.....before it gets too hot...supposed to be up in the high 80s or low 90s tomorrow.

Just letting ya know I would post more if I could.

Not much in the way of hunting here. Haven't had the time to do much of anything lately... The dirt is gettin' real dry... so looks like that's pretty much over. Did try the beach Saturday morning but it hasn't been hot enough here for lots of people to hit the water. Soon... very soon.

...haven't been digging any so nothing to report but I still read the posts daily. I enjoy seeing what you guys are finding and praying for those with prayer requests. It is still very hot and dry for this time of year, we're almost 12"s below normal rainfall amounts. Maybe this fall if Brian can go back to public school I'll have some time to get out and dig a little.

"This forum is for (1) posting your comments about metal detecting and to provide a (2) place where you will be able to greet your friends and (3) express your religious beliefs without fear of being singled out as a problem to your peers."

Well...........in all honesty, the third doesn't actually hold true. So, why is this forum here?

sure is, but it is still very slow!

looks like it is going to affect my work starting this week! :(

we had more rain to make the ground soft so I could dig old yards!
I will water hunt till then!

Use a Tesoro for that ear ring. They are hot on small gold! :)

I'm just trying to help things along a little!

Prayers for traveling mercies! Find some goodies too! :)

except the other earring. Got a couple items very close to the earring on the Smart display but no cigar.

The ACE 250 didn't even signal on the other earring. SPent a couple hours lookings....and it was a small area to check too...but no luck.

The earring was lost about a week ago. Since then we have had some heavy rainfall. It could have landed on the driveway and be picked up on car tires, or washed away in the rain. In the grass, the property owner had been in and out of there many times...maybe stuck to his shoe and gone elsewhere and fallen off.

I suggested too to go check the washing machine as sometimes earrings fall out but into clothing. He has a jewelry catch filter on the washer so said he would check it and let me know.

Just feel bad I was unable to find it after making pass after pass of the areas where I thought it could be.

I got a check for $25 for my time and efforts.

On the 18th I emailed Tesoro about needing parts for the Stingray = they still have not sent a reply. Did Tesoro close its doors?

I have had a reale on my goals list for a long time! Nice finds!

After looking for jewelry for people that knew where they lost it then found it totaly else where. I have learned they don't always lose it where they think they did! :) I haven't heard that Tesoro is closed?

the slowness ( slowness?? ) is due to the time of year.
As far as theme night, I like the idea and if only a few can post thats OK. Maybe it will pick up when cooler weather gets here

Greg

I think we ought to give it another try for a couple weeks to see how it goes.
