At the beach again early yesterday morning and I get a strong signal -2 and start thinking bottle top, hair clip, etc.yeah maybe I had better
dig it,Wow a bunch of car keys but it is what was attached that got my attention.A nice 9kt ring they had been in the sand for number of years.
Also found a bit of "bling" and a few dollars. We are in the height of our summer at the moment and the beaches get crowded.
Thanks Jim.

Congrats! Makes one wonder how many others walked over that target thinking it was junk. Finding a gold ring attached to a bunch of keys is a perfect example of target masking! Nice dig. HH Randy

Great hunting Jim! A perfect example of doing your own detecting, not just assuming what is there because of what the screen tells you. Great work!

Nicely dug Jim
i would of kept walking as would many of us
So you deserve the gold mate

I rarely (never) dig -2 unless it sounds real nice and has a high bounce, then it is usually junk anyhow. Keys usually sound pretty though.
