Hello every one
I am about to buy a whitrs "surf pi pro" can some one that really knows tell me what kind of depth to expect with this detector it will be mostly oregon beaches.

One has no way to be able to predict the depth you will be able to do with that unit, on your hunting conditions.
I'm sure it will be deeper than you care to dig. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
Take a few sample targets, and run them past the coil. Check the distance. Your most likely able to acheive those ranges in the ground.

Thanks for your response Mr. Bill I know its different from place to place and Oregon is a hard beach to read and I some times read how deep some of these things will go and its hard to take because my detectors will only go any thing from 4 inches to 8 inches and thats in dry sand so I am going to buy one and see for my self.
