Surfmaster PI - Excellent Machine!

Been working the local beaches here in Va Beach with my DFX and have quite an excellent collection of clad, glasses, cig lighters and small silver, copper, steel rings. No gold thought. I knew I was walking over jewelry that was just a bit too deep for the DFX....SO I ordered a new Surfmaster PI and it came in Friday late. This past Thursday and Friday I went to the same beach spot with the DFX twice and cleaned it up finding lots of clad to the tune of $5-$10 in money. Just to see, I went back Saturday to the same spot with the PI and was not there 5 minutes when I pulled up a great little gold ring from at least 10-12 inches down. I worked that spot hard Thu-Fri. I'm going to keep the DFX for the parks, school yards, coins & relic and stay with the Surfmaster for the beach. I'm convinced. Now, I dig everything with the DFX on the beach so digging everything with the PI was not an issue for me. Labor Day Weekend is here and there are tens of thousands on the beach. I'm getting up early tomorrow and heading down for a final boom (I hope!)

Hi Ron,
Yes, The Whites pi is a very good beach machine and gets good depth. Recently sold one for a friend and the depth did impressed me. The Headhunter Pi and the GQ SS are a little deeper with a few more features that help the machine excel over the whites pi. , Over all your whites pi is good <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
