As of this moment gold is down over a hundred dollars an ounce from its all-time high about a week ago!!

Ouch!!

Mexico's central bank just bought 100 tons of gold. China is buying gold. Texas University just bought several hundred millions of dollars worth of gold.

The central banks are shorting gold and silver with paper to drop the prices so people will sell. They then swoop in and buy when the prices drop.

Don't worry...the prices will go up again. Soon.

silver drooped, 25% this week! That is crazy! I figured that it was on its way past 50$ no question or concerns. Suddenly, Bin Laden gets himself killed and energy prices plummet!?? Not to mention, oil has dropped several dollars this week, which means, I will be able to aford to fill my van up with gas in a few months once the price of gasoline drops back down.

I SURE HOPE SO! JUST BOUGHT 15 MORGAN SILVER DOLLARS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION (NO SPECIAL DATES) AT AN ANTIQUE AUCTION FOR ABOUT $25.00 EACH

Its a bubble burst. And bound to happen. Has nada to do with the other day. These things eventually crest. All this stuffs falling...except gas prices though. Me. I horde my stuff anyway. May eventually sell it off...but. Id rather hold on.

On another note. I had a ring graded as 14 k the other day. I asked if it might be 18k. The old timer behind the desk asserted it was 14k without doing an 18k test...Then offered 85% market value. I kindly thanked him for his time and was happily on my way knowing it is at least 14.

Anyway...HH -Joe

maybe the high price sparked a selling frenzy and the price dropped ,
