Sweep speed for the F 5

I have had my F 5 for around a month now, and the more I think I know about it, the more I realize how much there is to learn.
I am reading and finding out on my own that Sweep Speed can make or break your hunt. I am having a hard time figuring out how fast I should swing for these parks I been hunting. Some times a slow swing gives me one reading vs a fast one on the same target.
This is one of the curves I am haveing a hard time learning.

I use a 1 second to about 4ft swing. Really I'm using a painting tech. Of over lapping for coverage so I'm slow with the feet fast with the arm. Speed will flow naturally with your ground speed. Walk slow and study the ground and it will just come together! I watched aperson walking at a normal pace and they were really swinging the md. I figured they were time limited or just after surface coins. Slow and steady works best for me.

Thanks twoscoots.Looks like, not to many F 5 users on here. The F 70 looks like where it's at! Well that's a long way away from me. I am happy with my hobby and my F 5.

Lots of f5 users here, it will go in spurts'......nothin wrong with either machine(both are great) but remember this, if a really good f4 user and a so so f5 or f70 are in the same area...... Put your money on the f4! Experience is king in this game. Learn that f5 and you will 'rock'!
