I was out a week ago at an old park and my cz went off relic tone, but the tone was different it sounded cleaner, sweeter It's hard to describe but I believe I am starting to get the tones down on this detector. I have only had the 70 for about two months and I finally am really getting the sounds down. I know they say four tones, but I hear a cleaner crisp sound on a good target, oh bye the way the sound was an old small scout pin.

CZ's are easy to setup and user friendly but they do have a language of their own and its not learned overnight.I have used a CZ for many years and can usually distinguish iron when it hits in coins all. Of course quite a few tricks in distingishing rusty iron besides but it usually has a telltale sound.Unfortunately many wheaties sneak in on coins all and usually can distinguish the sweet sound of a silver coin and even tell when its bigger such as a quarter. I say usually because nothing is 100% and even after 12 years get snake bit once in a while. As far as gold rings especially in the foil facet they usually hit harder but audio variances between gold rings and tabs, foil which mimic them are subtle at best. Heck you have been using a short time and after 12 years may be able to tell the date of the coin( NAH) <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> .

I have used most all the CZ's and the only ones that are still around are my CZ5 and My CZ70 which I use more.
Happy Hunting.
