Irish festival over the weekend here in that bottlecappy and pulltabby park I hunt...security told me yesterday they would be torn down and out by 8am today...I was there at 7:30.
Probably got 7 bucks or so in clad, in an hour, the majority Q's. Have not even counted it up yet. There was over 60k in attendance and there should have been lots more clad in there...I think the teardown crew is sweeping or picking up eyefinds since what I found was under the trampled grass, or a few inches deep and tarnished...sure I got a few freshies, but not in the amounts I usually get...slinging the F70 like Billy-be-cursed over and around the bottlecaps...sun came up, overcast with a little rain and up blew a big double rainbow! Thinking "pot of gold" sign, and locked onto midtones for rings and chains for a while amidst the pulltabs and foil...no dice...a really screechy place this is, built out of foundry slag fill...low sens and high coil, forget the tid, go by tones...only using a small center of the big double d to locate targets in the trash...anyway, I was thinking of some of my brothers here on the forum working this place with a little coil, they would have had a good time. I thought about going back to my car for the camera to share the wonderful morning with you all, but then figured we've probably all seen rainbows before, and I'm here to hunt, not give weather reports!

So if they use tickets like ours does..Jeez..No lost change is gong to be floating around other than inside booths where you buy items for cash..

I'm not saying none..Just saying a lot less than used to be lost.. Now they even accept cash DEBIT Cards from your bank in lieu of real money LOL...... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

That old fairgrounds up in Mn I hunted last month didn't yield but a few fresh drops and the fair had been just a month earlier. Possibly some locals scan it, but I very seldom see any other swingers in that small town. I suspect some carnival people give it a quick sweep before the load up and head off to the next event??? Still, several bucks is nothing to sneeze at. HH jim tn

Your out here swinging and digging and here doing my jury duty. And according to Z they are all guilty, hang em!!! I don't think that is fair? Nice hunt Mud. Maybe another go at it should be on your schedule. Pick up a little more out of there. There is always more.... Great work....Z
