T-2 LTD Upgrade

Talked to Juan yesterday at tecnetics. He guided me through the upgrade process. Great guy to deal with. Sent it in yesterday. Can't wait to get It back and test the upgrades.

I am considering the upgrade myself. I am not yet sure if it is worth the $159.00 price. Thoughts anyone?

I sent it for the upgrade and according to FedEx tracking it arrived in El Paso today and will be delivered to Monday. Hopefully they will have the upgrade done in a few days and send it back by the end of next week. Should be like having a brand new machine.

I have both the T2 SE and F75 LTD and chat with lots of users of both. I have heard mostly from the F75 users but they are blown away at how quiet these machines are after the upgrade. They are saying basically silent with the sens maxed out. I also have heard great things about the FA setting. I know a guy that hunts incredible sites in Virginia who went to one of his sites that has a huge iron patch that he's picked through in the past. He just went and hit it with the FA upgraded F75 and pulled pots of keepers. He was very pleasantly surprised. So the feedback so far is awesome. But keep in mind you may lose a tiny bit of depth with the new software selected. If you're hunting a clean area you may want to turn on the old software to gain a bit of depth. Excited to get both if my machines done

I still use my old green T2 and as yet i cannot see the need to upgrade it,the standard T2 has found me more gold celtic coins than any other machine,it may well be a really great for some folks and do away with major EMI issues but on my sites i have very little EMI issues anyway,i use what works for me.

I like you mostly have no emi issues. I think the part that I'm more excited about is the FA option at a couple of sites that have heavy iron patches. I honestly wasn't even too excited about that until I got some great feedback from a couple of Va relic hunters. I may just get my F75 LTD done and leave my T2 as is. But I agree with you. If you're not in need of these upgrades and are happy with your results why bother
