T-2 SE

Sold my Standard T-2. Just purchased a T-2SE. How much more depth can I get with the Se? What search mode is best for parks and ball fields? Thanks

To get the best for the SE you need to use the BOOST mode how much more depth will depend on the field that you are searching but the signal will be sharper.. You will get signal on iron but check the signal from a different angle it will show that its iron Dig anything above target number 40. Take it slow and keep the coil close to the ground. If you do not use the boost then the SE is much the same as the standard model. In that case I used 2+ or you can use setting 1 then you will get all signal and will need to read the numbers all the time .For grass fields I use sens 70 disc 20 I live in the UK so my search ares are different to the USA.Don forget to ground balance I use the grab method

Yes great on nuetral grass sites useless on my trashy Roman sites though thats where the 5x10 Nel achives greatness !

I totally agree with Brian(Younted) about the NEL Sharpshooter coil,it just suits my sites and my style of detecting and would say that it stays on the T2 most of the time these days.Once again mine are mainly roman and saxon sites over here in the UK.
