T-2 went against a seasoned Explorer veteran today, We fared the same.

Meet up with a couple of friends today, An old site dating from early 1800's to maybe 1880's........We had two hours to kill before attending a friends memorial service and decided to search a pounded site... At the end, my friend which is a skilled Explorer user and my using the T-2 both fared the same with targets recovered.

I only have about 10 hours of use on the T-2 so I haven't really mastered the unit with learning all the in-outs but do know enough to hold my own and was still able to go against one of California's deadliest Explorer user.

We compared signals both on target with the other and during the two hour hunt we both came out equal on finds from an extremely pounded site, I think what helped me learn the T-2 so well is my using the older Compass Scanners and other older detectors with GB and good separation, Those that enjoy the older detectors will excel with the T-2 from the get-go.

My friend even said, The T-2 gets the same depth as the Explorer. I say it gets the same or a little deeper, I know it does because I use the Explorer can see the difference.

Thanks for looking, Paul
