I've only dug a couple of deep coins with mine. I know that one didn't id at all and it was about 8" deep and dime sized. The signal was pretty clear though.
I hunt in iron infested spots so probably need to learn my machine better. Word is, the Omega 8000 id's deeper, but I don't know that it goes deeper.
