T2 and T2 SE

The difference is worth the money. I also have an MXT Pro and in my experience, the T2 is no more worse around EMI than the MXT.

John,
If you do not want to walk over relics you have to have the SE. The two process, boost and cache allow you to get the depth you need hunting in tall pasture. Sensitive to both small relics as well as large. The other disc. tones can't hear boost targets when crossed checked most of the time. Tex

I have the regular T2 and I wish I would of spent the extra money to get the SE. I didnt know enough about detectors when I purchased mine! I absolutely love the one I got and I have pulled some amazing finds with it but the boost mode would be GREAT to have! I do struggle with interference with my T2! I hunt with Whites users and they willl have no interference while mine is chattering like crazy! My garret pro pointer also interferes with the T2 on stock frequency so I have to change it every time Im out. You can cope with the interference though! If you turn the sense down and play with the disc you can eliminate the emi most of the time. Sometimes theres nothing you can do but just deal with it.

Yeah John, I felt there is enough difference that I ordered a T2 SE earlier this week. It will arrive next Wednesdday and I can hardly wait to get it out and dig! There is so much history in the ground here in Oklahoma. It's difficult to decide where to go sometimes! I live in a small town that is surrounded by the Canadian River, which offers me a place to go easily.

Come on UPS, don't fail me next week! :wiggle:

I got a great deal from Rich at Colonial Metal Detectors in Mass. He is very helpful and friendly! Let Google be your friend!

Best of luck!
Dave

Nice job on the T2SE hotrox. I got mine two weeks ago and I am enjoying it. What I like most is that it can be adjusted to skill level. I am a total newbie yet I feel like I can tune it in to my skill level with the ability to move up later on. I do not think I will outgrow this machine anytime soon which is what I was looking for. Sunday is my scheduled hunt time. I hope to get in 3-4 hours tomorrow. The machine is so light that you will never notice it.

A previous post mentioned interference with Pro Pointer. For me, I only get interference from my Pro Pointer when it is within two feet of my detector. So I just set my machine off to the side when digging the plug. But since my Pro Pointer is turned off except when plug searching, it does not interfere with my T2SE during the hunt.
