T2 as a coin shooter

I have access to one of the oldest University's on the West Coast. I have been searching here for months. No one else is allowed to search. The finds are fantastic,the kind we dream about.It is also full of iron, 3-4 hits on every swing.
I have tried six different detectors tyring to get around all of the iron, including a Tejon (it drove me nuts) I gotta have target ID!
So far the best results have been with my Land Star and Time Ranger with 4" coils. I know I'm still missing stuff with all of the iron. The silver coins for the most part are 6" plus deep.
How will the T2 be here? Is it a good coin shooter? My budget is $1000.00
I'm also considering the F-75 or X Terra 70.

Bigolhorns, I like the T2 for coin shooting but better for relic hunting. Alot of people say the T2 is very good for pulling coins out of iron and I believe that to be the case. The T2 is so fast a recovery that you can hear all of the signals even when they are very close together. To give you an example if you take the T2 on a wood deck with nails that are usually with in an inch or two apart and swing at a relatively fast swing you will hear each nail. So if you are in an area that has a lot of iron, then it could sound like a popcorn popper. In a case like that I will slow down my swing speed in order to hear each signal better. Some detectors will null out or not recover fast enough and miss the target next to it. I can't give and example on the F75 since I've never used one, but my guess is it may be even better, because the electronics will give you more of a number ID spread than the T2. I would go on line and research the T2 and the F75. You can go to their web sites and pull up their manuals and read both and see the difference. That will give you a better prospective of the detectors, because they are made by the same company First Texas. The T2 is Bounty Hunter and the F75 is Fisher and First Texas owns both company's. The F75 is really a more improved T2. Either way either one will be a good choice. Good luck and happy hunting.
