T2 classic does not have a sound volume issue

I posted earlier that I thought the T2 had an audio issue. As it turns out, the "audiophile 2" headphones that shipped with the T2 do not work well with this detector. I am using a pair of Garrett easy stow headphones and I :nono: near blew out my eardrums on the first target.I am convinced it is a impedance compatibility issue , because the audiophiles work well on my land ranger Pro.So, just a heads up out there that if you are experiencing low crappy volume it probably isn't the detector.check out a different pair of headphones.

Who would ship a pair of headphones with a detector they were not compatible with?

I know right- but the fact is they suck when used with the T2. They work fine on my LRP, the Garrett's are really good quality headphones, great audio when used with my T2.

I use a pair of Garrett's that was recommended by Kellyco and they sound fine but they have a straight cord instead of a coiled one and they always get tangled up. I wouldn't have thought that they even made headphones for detecting without a coiled cord anymore.
