T2 find.....Irish "Shine" ID'ed

Some may remember this "Irish Button" I dug at a cellar hole maybe a month or so ago? I remember I was upset that the cool looking new cellar hole didn't produce a large cent or silver coin with the T2. Only the cruddy shield nickle & this button that didn't appear too old, or military....
Well, I got a letter from Mark Parker from W&E magazine yesterday saying it was a rare, unlisted "Irish Repeal Movement" button.
This attempt at Ireland getting it's own kingdom ran from 1839-1847, putting the button in that time range. Some, had guessed the backmark looked about 1840, so I thought I share the update....
The letter has an offer from a button dealer for $200, even though not having a shank on the back hurts it's value.....They may even feature the button in an upcoming issue with alot more background about the "Irish Repeal" which sounds pretty cool....
I just sent a photo to the magazine looking for a date on the button.
To think we were upset that we didn't get a Large cent that day  This is probably my best T2 find thusfar. Buttons are where the $$ is....& the T2 power loves 'em!

You're not kidding, The T-2 loves buttons and you've got a goodie here.

Much better than a large cent
