T2 finds silver....

Had to work today but took the T2 for a short walk in the park across the street right before dark....... Descrimination set @ 50 , 3 tones and fast grab balanced but didn't catch the GC setting this time. two zinc pennies , a big piece of copper and last item was a childs .925 friendship ring. The T2 locked strong @ 88 vdi on the ring and it was about 8" down. I'm off tomorrow .... we'll see how she does in the morning!
Thanks for looking.....

"locked on" strong at 8" is darn good! What was your Sensitivity setting, do you recall? My guess is you have reasonably mellow ground for that performance, at least compared to any parks close to me. :(

May 'Good Luck' shine on you the next time out. :)

I'll get the GC readings tomorrow, yes we have good ground here in East Texas..... I say it locked strong but if I remember right the chevron on the ring was medium but the tone signal was very strong. The settings on this unit are the easiest I've ever used as far as manuevering to each set point and I love how all your Information is always right there in front of you...... Yep I'm loving it!! I can see an Omega in my future for my coin shooting outings.
