T2 headphones

My t2 sound real "trebley.. High pitched like when you turn all the bass down on a radio... I can't seem to find a set of headphones that sound good...is there something wrong?

That is most unusual, out of interest what ones have you tried ??? as most of the top quality headphones work on mine even my TDK Wireless ones, these are my main ones at the moment as its great to be without cables.

If everything is high pitched, what does iron sound like? How does it sound without headphones? What tone setting do you use?

I've tried koss, grey ghosts and finally settled on Bose.. Believe it or not the Bose sound amazing on my etrac! With the external speaker, all the tones seem fine..

Doesn't sound right to me. The only complaint I have is wishing it had a bit more volume reaching the phones. No doubt my hearing is a little impaired but with my G2 which had no volume control I had to turn the phones down just a tad. With my T2 SE it is about right maxed out but would not bother me to have just a tad more.

Yeah there must be a bad connection somewhere. I think the volume on my T2 is fine. I always use just one headphone on my left ear and keep the right open to outside noise. I hear better in my left ear so it's the one I use on the phone and while detecting.
