T2 in iron?

What makes the T2 better than the F75 in iron? I don't mean for this to be a loaded question, I have read this before and just want to know why. With a new coil coming out I might give one a try. I use a F70 now when I get in those iron infested spots. Thanks for any info.

i would imagine performance would be simular, the t-2 has a wider iron resolution range, a 6 on the f-70 is like a 21 on the t-2

out of the 100 numbers scale....twice that of the F75. Running a T2 disc at 21 like the other post said, breaks up nails in heavy trash. To simulate that on a F75 you have to go all the way down to 6 disc.....
With a small DD coil, that should in theory make the T2 even better than the F75's small elliptical coil in thick iron....I have not recieved my small T2 coil yet to confirm how good it is. I was told "mid-January" so I should have one soon.....

i have used the t2 in iron from day one ,we have over 2000 years of iron in our soil and these babies see right through it i run at sens 72 ,disc 10 ,tones 4 to start with on most u.k sites its probably a bit noisy for you stateside boys but it enables me to hear the iron grunting while still finding the thin section silver and gold coins and artefacts ,the iron discrim on the t2 is far superior to the f75 and gives a better cleare signal imho

i run mine 10-21 in the iron as well, the noise never bothered me, pretty much the same way i ran my qxt [wide open] but 2 tone
