T2 like DFX?

The T2 sounds a lot like the DFX in being able to tune a variety of things. Anyone have experience with both?

There is a lot less menu to cycle through with the T-2. Some complain that it doesn't retain the settings, but there are only 3 adjustments each for all metal (sens, hum & GB) & disc (sens, disc level & tones). Then the freq is changed with menu knob pressed while toggle switch is pushed or pulled. Pinpoint pulling toggle switch, FASTGRAB GB by pushing toggle switch & raising & lowering coil few inches. That's about all there is to it. It's really easier to learn & more pleasant to use than most high-end detectors, & the light weight is part of that. HH, George (MN)

In terms of performance, The T-2 and MXT operate about the same with separation and with responding to smaller conductive signals. So the T-2 is more in the ranks of a MXT unit rather than a DFX.

Both detectors designed by Dave Johnson, Both machines fair about the same when going against each other when relic hunting. Both, Excellent detectors for peeking between the iron other detectors don't fare as well.
