On the T2 or the tones for id only or they make a difference on depth.
When GBing do you push and hold or let go of the trigger?????any pointers for a new be......

The manual describes all this, you might have to read it a couple times to absorb all the info.

The audio tone circuit is completely separate from the detecting portion, so there's no change in depth in any of the disc modes. Technically all metal might be slighlty deeper than disc. Maximum depth won't matter much till you are very familiar with the detector to find these weak signals and have a spot where huge depth is an advantage. Where I hunt, there's so many junk signals, I doubt I'd ever snag anything as deep as a foot unless I dug a dozen trash items first. In clear areas, I have no problem going deep no matter how I have it set. As long as sensitivity isn't cranked way down, it'll pretty much detect to the max. Generally, the vast majority of targets are seldom deeper than 5 or 6 inches anyway, even fairly old ones. True century-plus relic sites can have deeper items, but such spots aren't that common.

GB, I think you hold the trugger while pumping the coil up and down till the gb number displays or it can't find gb and tells you, in which case move the coil a foot or two and try again.

And read the manual!! ;)
