T2 SE Coil

Ive been playing with a T2 for a month or so & just got a new coil for it and thought Id share some info...First off, its the Sharpshooter from the Ukraine....Bought it off the bay, it took 11days to arrive... The box was a little roughed up but the coil is in great shape...Coil seems to be of good quality , the coil cover fits a little looser than I would like & my need a ring of tape around it to keep it on if dipping in the water ...Coil bolt is included also & is good quality & proper size...The coil cable is about 6" shorter than the one on the Teknetics 5" and is of a little large diameter and stiffer than the factory coils but is not a problem...Mounting it to the shaft I discovered it will require 2 rubber washers, one on each side to fit properly..With the 2 washer the fit is perfect and requires little or no pressure from the bolt to keep the coil in place...I haven't had it in the field yet but a quick spin in the back yard went well...Coil ground balanced easily and both emi levels and depth seemed to be just where you expect them, right in the middle of the 2 factory coils with depth more in line with the larger coil in my limited testing. ... This coil should fill the gap in the factory coil line up quite nicely, feels real good on the end of the stick.... I would like to hear comments & tips from others users of this coil and will add my own as I get some time on it.... Thanks, wildherre

Having some very good report from a few members in our club about this specific NEL coil, its as sharp as a pin on small coins and artifacts and infact its that good they use them all the time instead of the stock coil.

Build quality of the coil is very good but i will say that the coil labels have started to lift after a short time duration its not a major problem but just a cosmetic one,gut feeling tells me its better just to take the things off and clean up the glue with some cleaner.

Although generally NEL coils have not taken off like the Detech ones, the Sharpshooter from NEL on the T2 is a winning combination,i will be ordering one over the weekend and my intention is to keep it on the T2 full time as well.

Like your armcup that you use that looks well cool not so sure about the stand though but as long as it work thats themain thing.
