not been out much lately due to one thing and another ,(its been raining non stop for a month now) but managed to get out today tues and hit a new site ,heres a few of the nicer bits
a hammered threepence of queen elizabeth 1st late 1500's
a roman pan weight with the numerals 1111 inscribed
and a lead stylus roman to medieval with indentation for suspension cord ,these where used to write messages in clay tablets

Well done Wolfie..

Just goes to demonstrate that the T2 lacks nothing in the real world of finding ability as long as 'the man at the end of the stick' knows how to use it.

As you've mentioned, we have had so much rain it's a wonder you haven't needed a canoe to put your finds in. I'll bet you look a real dapper in your high waders! (Big tall wellies). So keep your powder, batteries dry and have fun.......MattR.UK.

P.s. The spell checker wanted to put WILLIES in place of wellies !!!

Maybe that was a prophetic warning to tuck your willy into your welly, otherwise ......??????????????

Here's something the rain washed out...But all that glitters isn't gold.
