t2 upgrade to t2se,is there a learning curve?

coindog I up graded also. and found that the only differeance in sound of the tones is in the boost mode.
My primere tone for hunting coins is #3 tone.I use 75 sen and 40 dis. I have a qt 8 in my garden and
the sound is the same on the se. In the boost it is differant.Play with the differant tones and you will see.

how about the vdi #'s are they the same? i usually use the 2+ mode with 85 sens and 48 disc, unless im in a non trash zone(deep woods or open fields) ill use 90-95 sens..
 
Coindog. I just done a air test on 5 coins. the #s are not the same on the se as thay are on the t2.
silver Q-90- clad 88 on t2
s dime 83- clad 84 to 85 on t2
in head 79
W-penny82
nickle 58 the same as t2
