T2

Going to get back into detecting and Im gonna try a T2 this time. I have a couple of questions. I mostly beach hunt with a little woods hunting.
There are two T2s available, a classic and the more expensive one. Would the more expensive one perform better, meaning hit smaller gold or go deeper on gold?
Do both machines give a numerical readout, target ID, when running in all metal? Im guessing it has an all metal motion mode like the F75 does?

Myself i just ordered the Classic Green T2 the cheaper one .. From what all i see and hear and read on them . I see not much difference. in them worth the extra cost..If you click on the Teknetics add on the top of the screen here .. you will see a picture of both of them and the write up on them ...

I too have one on order but wonder if I should have looked for s T2 with boost and DST. This video surprised me a little on how well the T2 performed in wet salt sand in AM mode. I am wondering if the regular T2 gets about the same depth at say 90 percent sens vs a T2 SE would get in boost mode at 60 percent?

I would use the Sovereign Elite in wet salt if you still have it.

I have an original t2 and an f75se ltd. The t2 seems to be just as deep and more stable. Of course this has all been air testing inside my house. I have not been able to use them outside.

Thanks everyone. I think Im gonna go with the T2 that is black, the one with the boost mode. That little extra oomph could be the difference on the smaller gold Im after. It comes with the smaller coil too.

Fletch I know longer have any Sovs. Sold all my minelab stuff beginning of the year to help get money together to get into this house Im in. I only kept my whites goldmaster and I really want something that's gonna come close to that in small gold but has some disc, Got some old sites to hunt this winter and they've got their share of iron, the goldmaster would be a nightmare there I think.
