Nothing real fancy, but it's better than nothing. I was using the 5 inch DD coil in the boost mode out on a great big ole sports field. I got a solid dime reading and dug down around 6 inches and popped out this unusual crystal pendant. It changes colors according to what it's next to. It's clear when you hold it up to the light.

Another glorious day for detecting. It was t-shirt weather.

I also found a few dollars in clad and some junk jewelry. That little 5 inch coil goes deep in boost mode. I'm still waiting on my NEL Sharpshooter coil to give it a work out.

You are giving that T2 a good work out of late and seems to be paying off. Neat find on the pendant and it is different.

T shirt weather? Where were you hunting? It was only in the upper 40's the last time I checked.

Jim, the sun was bright and the wind was calm. This morning was kinda of cool though. It didn't take long for me to come out of my flannel shirt and sweatshirt.

I can't wait until my NEL Sharpshooter coil gets here.

I don't think so. It's crystal clear when it's not next to another color. It takes on the color that's near it. My wife says it's a crystal.

Those and Mood rings were the rage back in the 70's I believe. That is if memory serves me well.

Theory was your body temp would rise as your mood changed....... and the pendant and rings would change colors.....
All the girls wore them in the day..... and of course we guys always tried to get the colors to change............

Naw Elton, it ain't no mood ring. Its color doesn't change with the temperature. It changes to what's near it.
