A friend and I went to an old homesite in an open field today that we had searched many times but it keeps producing. It was an early 1800's site. I used the small coil with settings at 95 sens 10 disc and 3 tones. I found my first good relic. At 3 inches was a nice flat button with the loop intact and a1/4 inch buckshot. The button had "treble gilt"on the back placing it in the early 19 th century. Not a great find but my first decent find with t2se. Thanks to everyone for their help on understanding a new machine. Someone suggested these settings in an iron invested area and it worked.

Congrats

Finding a button makes for a good day of hunting. Congrats!

The T2SE is at home in trash and iron.
