New T2SE The Fast Grab works, you can hear it in the headphones but the Number on the screen stayes at 90 then when it does work and the number changes say to 67 you can do another Fast Grab some where else and the number will stay at 67 anyone have this happen to them before?

It could be the same in some places Bill ..But my bet is something isn't exactly right with your unit.. Till you send it in..Just leave it at 90 GB..... in the discrimination mode...

I've just recently (yesterday) discovered a similar issue with my T2SE. I usually GB in all metal and run that way, flipping over to disc when I feel like it. The best I can describe is the toggle switch may have an intermittent issue because it works sometimes and most times not. As an aside, I'm not liking the disc mode on this detector comparing performance to my AT Pro. All metal mode is where it's at with this machine! Looks like your machine will have company at FT pretty soon!

I've been experimenting in my yard the last hour. I have a 7yr old who has LITTERED the yard with all sorts of change. I got the unit to GB with the toggle every time when: I started in all metal and found the cleanest spot that I could move the coil at least 6" in any direction. Switch back to disc and use the toggle-having changed nothing setting wise. It worked as it should. Even easier if I cheated and lowered sensitivity a bit before GB. My hours on this machine are still less than 40 and I'm open to the idea that the problem could actually be me..ha! I'll do my best to burn up a set of batteries tomorrow and see how it does.
