I almost got skunked. I went back to the location where I found the Mercury Dime on my last hunt. I first had the 5 inch DD on, then the 11 inch DD coil before finally going back to the 5 inch DD coil. I felt like I needed a mid-size coil.:) The Rosie almost fooled me. The VDI numbers were bouncing from 81 to 89. At the last second I decided to dig, because it had crisp ring to the audio pitch. I dug down around 3 inches and hit a tree root. My ProPointer told me it was next to the root. Sure enough I dug down another inch or two and found the Rosie on edge next to the root. I had the sensitivity on 90, The discrimination set at 10, 3 tones and it was ground balanced at around 70.

This location is loaded with trash! The audio coming through the headphones sounded like a Gatling Gun.

I'm going to give the Omega with the 10 inch DD coil a try at this location next time to see how it does.

The T2SE is deeper and runs quieter than the Omega. The F75SE may be the better choice. It has more tones than the T2SE.

Also the F75SE has more choices of tones in the boost mode. Some say the T2SE runs quieter than the F75SE.

nice find i had a t2se and now have the f75se i also had a f70 and the f75se is the best when it comes to emi of the three and seems to run the quietest all around i think ground minerlization has alot to do with it and here on the west coast its bad all the obove units where i live i can only run the sense at around 80 percent max hh

Thanks. That some good info. I've been thinking about pulling the trigger on a F75SE.

Thanks. Your F75SE would not have been chatty at this site. My hunting buddy had his set up today with 3 tones, sensitivety at 85, with the discrimination set at 6.

I was amazed at how quiet it was running. :detecting:
