TabDog and the Compadre

Greetings !

Did TabDog's posts encourage you to buy your Compadre ?

ToddB64 :)

Howdy Todd,

Yup, the Tabdog Is a master with the mighty Compadre, I enjoyed his posts on here. He ran the Compadre in all-metal accept disc.mode and dug everything, that's the way to find the gold. He found a lot of gold in parks & tot lots in and around LittleRock, Ar , and had great posts & pictures. It's too bad he got banned from here a couple of years ago, do you know if he is still active in the forums?

Yep. I enjoyed his pickin' at me. I remember his telling me that his Compadre could be set to eliminate his pair of pliars and still pick up a coin beside it and asking if I could do it with my Silver umax (nope). My favorite post was his "Compadre finds prehistoric dollar"=which he posted on April Fool's day!

Tabdog is why I got my COMPADRE. He made it a lot of fun. It is a good detector. It will find that gold chain. I miss his post. Wish he was back....KEN

Tabdog is posting away at another site. You just have to learn to go from site to site to gather up the best info on detecting. Tabdog is loaded with good info.

I think he had both versions.

I owned the Compadre before I found out about TabDog, but man, did his posts inform and inspire!

:cool:Did tabdog use the older version or newer version Compadre?
Both. He had Speedy l with/7" coil, thought it quit on him, bought Speedy ll with 5" coil and Speedy l recovered!:clapping:

Good deal Elton. I sure wouldn't want my personal info posted here.

There is a bit of a chain effect going on here. I joined the forum shortly after Tabdog left and bought bought mine about a year ago after reading all the compadre posts. Mind you most of the posts made were made by people that were inspired by Tabdog.
The "Church of the Compadre" is what really brought the hammer down. After reading that I knew I had to get one.
I have no regrets about it either.

Thanks Tabdog.

Too late, I know your name, your address, your number, your favorite things to eat and drink, your vehicle and license plate number, your blood type, what time you get up and when you go to bed, and all your hunting spots, but don't worry I won't tell too many all that I know about you :poke::rofl:.
