.... Well, It been a very, very busy first 6 months this year. Dealing with my Dad, Running the Mini Warehouses. Running the Metal detectors sales and how working on the web-site. My wife & I are going to take a few days off. It only maybe 2 days be we will see. hope to leave late Friday or Sat morning. God has bless me with the year so far and I only see it getting better. I think I will grab a 1280x and head to the beach to do some detecting. beome a pirate for a few days :D Well, I better get back to work. God bless you all !!!

I chuckle a little when you mentioned taking a 1280x and going water detecting. Being the owner of a store you can do that.

The chuckle is mainly because of a guy and his wife who are the most unlikely people to ever see riding a Harley - yet they bought a Harley Dealership in Bay City, MI.

I talked to the owner on July 4th and commented to him how Harley riders look down on those who don't own Harleys but wear Harley garb. They say "You're a Wannabe" and "We proudly wear Harley garb because we own Harleys." I told the owner you are even better than the Harley owners because having the dealership you can wear anything ya want and if asked if ya own a Harley you can laugh and say "See all these bikes? I own them all?" :lol:

Thought ya might enjoy that thought and get a chuckle too.
 
... I do own them all :D I have to pay for them first, then I resale just like the Harleys has to :D so by law, I own them all :D Would you like for me to take a Garrett or a DetectorPro ? :poke: :lol: :lol: :lol: :blowup:
 
When I became a dealer for the National Treasure Hunters League back in the 70s I had to do the same. Had to buy a minimum of 3 detectors at one time. On my military pay that wasn't easy but I did it. That was back in the days of BFOs and the entry of the TR units from Whites. Oh well that was a long long time ago and as far as I know NTHL no longer exists. Heard the owner, Ray Smith, died from cancer but not sure.
