Had a short but nasty little storm come through just after midnight last night. First there were over 5000 lightening strikes in one hour, then we lost power, then the hail started. Marble sized and smaller. I went out afterwards to check the damage and so far as I could see there was nothing bad. Here are a couple pics. Looks like another one is coming in a couple hours. Most will go north of us, but a little can be nasty! We got our power back after about 3 hours.

Glad the storm didn't cause too much damage, Mike! And, Greg, sorry to hear about the breakage of glass on the cars! Hail can cause great damages to cars, roofs and even people who get caught out in it!  May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

People had their siding shredded on their houses, trees on cars and houses, a camper place had a dozen new campers grow wings and fly into the others, even seen where a 2x4 flew through the side wall of a trailer tire! Up to golf ball sized hail. More to come!

Whoa...you guys got walloped! Glad you guys weathered the storm!

Here in the Grand Rapids (Walker) area, we didn't get any hail but we did get high winds, a lot of lightening, and heavy rains. God willing, all those living in southern Michigan and especially near the city of Kalamazoo will be safe.
