Target under cow poo!!

I had to post the little story about today, so here it goes I went MDing today in a pasture I found a few things like bullets, shell casing nothing that old and then I got a good signal in the high range and guess what It's right under cow poo fresh too. So heres the question is to scoop or not to scoop, so went got a shovel from the land owner and scooped away the poo!! and then dug and and and and I found a 1946 wheatie I'm glad I got something out of that scoop and dig event I hope you had better finds than I did,sorry for not posting as much God bless
 
Glad it produced for you ! One time I got an eagle button under a cow pie - but it was dry, fortunately. steve in so az
 
People were feeding them and there were hundreds of them. You had to look where you were walking to not step in it. I go to a different area of that park. "Doglogs" and then "catlogs" in the sand boxes. No meader muffins though. Where there's a wheatie, there's a way. You came through. Made me feel good for you.

Hey buddy. A wheatie is a wheatie...whether it's under the dirt or under poo.
Nice find. I'm sorry it was fresh poo!...but it paid off.
 
My first day in VA recently was in a cow pasture. I didn't have any signals underneath any but others did! :) So if I did, I would have scooped! :lol:

Well, Travis, I was confused at first and was wondering what was going on and didn't remember superheat.....But this post started back in 2006 when I was posting under MI$$OURI Betty....sooooo its been awhile since anyone posted on this one, but looks like some have lately. Never know when an old member comes back posting and becomes a new member again! Sure is surprising to bring back an old post from 4 years ago!
