Where have I been.....could someone please tell me where I can find out more on the TDI cause I can't find it anywhere. Who makes it, who sells it, and the price if someone knows.Maybe I'm in the wrong forum, I don't know. Thanks for your time.

The TDI is a White's Electronics ground balancing pulse induction metal detector that is in a weird sort of pre-production production phase. If that confuses you, join the crowd.

Why Thank you, now it all makes sense to me. I can see why people are interested in water proofing it.

Expect to pay around $1,600.00 for a TDI, if you could find one for sale. Maybe by the fall when it goes into production.
