Tdi

How does the Whites TDi perform on the beach is it as good as the Goldquest SS

Most of my detecting is done at the beach and I find my TDI works just fine. The only time I have any issues is when there is iron sand mixed in the beach sand but I have learnt to avoid these beaches.
I do most of my detecting around intertidal areas where ( what we call here ) the 'King tides' only reach every month and there the build up of dry salt can make ground balancing very difficult, after a good rain the problem disappears.
The digging sure is easy though.

George, where I am located (Southern California) the TDI is better in the dry, but down by the water the Goldquest shines.....which version do you have?....Jerry

As yet I dont have a Tdi I am thinking of purchasing either a Tdi or Infinium

Tough call.....any other uses for the machine besides the beach?....mostly detecting at the water's edge or up in the dry?......lots of airplanes and power lines close by?.......where abouts are you located, George?
