Tea Party

Thanks Martin......Pray for the Tea Party today because BO just don't get it that patriots fought in the American Revolutionary War to be free from the Church of England telling them how to worship, but we were a Nation of 13 Colonies established under One God (Jehovah) and the Constitution of the USA! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

The Tea Party is a movement not a political party. Some groups are organized as Tea Parties and may support candidates. Most groups are forming under the Patriot name. I'm a member of the Allen County Ohio Patriots. If Christians don't respond to II Chronicles 7:14 all the efforts of all the patriotic groups will be in vain.
For the most part our founding fathers weren't "deeply religious" as this painter had said but they were Christians. The founders were lovers of Christ. Only Jefferson and Franklin ever gave any indication that they were not. Publicly Jefferson would praise "religion". Privately in his letters he would make disparaging remarks. Jefferson received a letter from "Danbury Baptist" urging him very very strongly to seek the approval of Congress to make "Baptist" the "Official" church of the United States. He rightfully took exception to the concept and penned the now famous term, "separation of church and state". No, that term is not found in any legal documents pertaining to government but from a letter to a church. As a Baptist I'm in agreement with Jefferson and the letter should never been sent to him in the first place.
Go to or contact your federal representatives office and ask for a pocket Constitution and Declaration of Independence. The communist, Nazi fascist reps. probably won't have them but can get them. It also contains the Bill of Rights and all the Amendments. Read it and re-read it. It's not even closer to 2700 pages and we don't need "to pass it to see what it says", Rep. Pelosi. The states are to have control over the federal government, a federation of states. Interesting concept. Hasn't been used since before the Civil War. Here in Ohio we have a petition drive going to get the Ohio Sovereignty Amendment on the ballot. We won't have enough signatures for this year but they stay valid and will be still valid for next year. It would not only return sovereignty to the State of Ohio but would kill the Health care Bill, Cap and Trade and all unconstitutional gun laws to name a few. It has also has a provision that if any elected or appointed official violates either the Ohio Constitution or U.S. Constitution the People have the right to recall. If the recall is successful then they are never allowed to hold office in or for the State of Ohio again.
May God bless you all.
