I was once a skeptic of the small boxed machines that Tesoro makes. I can still remember seeing some of the first machines back in the early 90's. I was at the Three Forks Treasure hunt down in Oklahoma, and a very few people had the Tesoro's. Most folks shyed away from those machines in their earlier years. Fisher and Garrett were especially strong sellers, and Minelab wasn't even around then.
My first purchased Tesoro was the Conquistador a few years ago - and that changed my outlook on Tesoro. I currently own 3 little machines - the Tejon being the most current. All I can say is WOW. Been hunting some old war grounds here in MO, and this machine really shines. The first time out with it - I dug 5 bullets - in grounds that has been covered with my DFX! I truly love the simplicity of this little wonder. It is extremely deep - you have to re-think your digging tool arsenal if you purchase this machine. I purchased the 36 inch Lesche to take with me when hunting with the Tejon. The analog circuitry is a joy to listen to. Simplicity, lightweight, quality construction, and a lifetime warrantly. Believe I will sell some more of my digital machines to purchase more Tesoros. Ha-Ha.
