Tejon question

For sometime I have wondered about the Tejon and moderate mineralization. I have several detectors but the Tejon is my favorite. If I can just word this so you folks understand where I
 
Have you tried ground balancing in a low mineralization area with the Tejon (as determined by your other detectors) and then taken it to an area that as hot as you have in your area and tried re-ground balancing to see how far out it is? I have areas like that, here in N. Alabama and when I notice it going on I'll re-ground balance every so often, but generally I don't sweat it as the difference isn't really great enough to affect depth all that much (in my experience).
